Aihe: Proxy cards usage

Hey! I am pretty new to MTG and currently doing my first custom deck, I want to test it by playing with proxy cards, I am planning to play in commander. Will I get side eyes from other players here in Finland, Tampere or it is okay to use proxy deck?
