Please remember these two facts:

Stores of any kind aren't allowed to sell alcoholic drinks between 21.00 and 9.00.
On saturday almost all stores, including Alko, close at 18.00.

That's why there are bars that are open until 4 o'clock! (and nightclubs etc)
And at the central railway station & the tunnel (less than 200m from the site) the stores are open until 22.00. The prohibition of selling alcohol between 21 and 9 still applies.

EDIT: Oh, and "viinakauppa" (notice double p) is's the proper word, it's more a slang word for Alko.

first of i want to say that im sorry for all the non magic spam. if i understood you right shops are not allowed to sell alcohol during the night? ie 21.00 -> 09.00 so for example i would be able to buy alcohol at 10am at alko. so i would be able to buy alcohol at alko during "normal" businesshours 09-18. can throw me a pm so i can get answers there instead of spamming this thread with stuff that has nothing todo with magic.

edit: sigh, got abit fuzzy there. ill formulate it really simply if you didnt fully understand what i wanted to ask: can you buy alcohol at stores during normal business hours during the day?

To summarize:

Alcohol can be sold between 9:00 and 21:00
Alko (the official booze shop that sells all kinds of alcohol) is open until 18:00 on Saturdays
Most grocery stores (that sell beer/cider/alcopops) are open until 18:00 on Saturdays, but there a few stores near the venue that are open until 22:00
There are plenty of bars near the venue

Fear not, this country is prepared to fulfill all your boozy needs

Proksyvintagea on siis luvassa. Tässä tarkempaa tietoa (josta osa lukeekin jo alussa) :

- Turnaus pyritään aloittamaan hyvinkin lähellä 12:00 (07.03.2009), joten paikalle tulo ajoissa on hyvästä. Mikäli uhkaatte myöhästyä, soittakaa.
- Pakkalistat aion kerätä osallistuneilta turnausmaksun yhteydessä. Nämä tulevat enemmän tilastojen vuoksi, joten merkkaathan proksatut kortit listaan. Tampereen poikien proksyohjeet löytyvät jostain päin ketjua.
- Turnausmaksu (10e) käteisellä, mielellään tasarahaa.
- Tuomarina toimin minä, sekä Jukka Autio. Turnaus ei ole proksyjen takia sanktioitu, mutta silti pyrimme pitämään sen DCI-sääntöjen puitteissa.
- Palkintojakauma kerrotaan toisen kierroksen alussa. Alustavasti voittajalle on luvassa *moksi (väh. Ruby tai Jet). Olen myös luvannut laittaa 5% kaikista helmikuun aikana tapahtuvista tämän sivuston kautta tehdyistä myynneistä palkintopottiin. Tällä hetkellä on luvassa siis suurinpiirtein 80e (pl. järjestäjien ruuat), joten finalistille on luvassa jotain Drainin luokkaista.
- Mainittakoon vielä kerran, että tilat ovat lainassa yliopistolta. Viskon riehujat ja känniääliöt pihalle.

Partis attak vol 1

Eka vaihe copleteted. Ollaan Juhalla, vaikka vaihtoehtona ois ollu huomattavan parempaa (nais)seuraa. Otetaan kuitenki sen verta tosissaan tää eventti, ettei lust of liha pääse ihan valloilleen. Dekkiklinikka has start.

Aamulla heräsin 0445 sitte töihin. Junaan piti juosta enkä kerenny ees kalijaa pakata. Nopeus riitti ja pendoliino starttas mä mukana. Joku ukko oli juonu ittesä kenoon tero-style ja örisi koko matkan kuola valuen Kokkolaan asti, jonka jälkeen jatkoi ilman valuvaa kuolaa aina Tampereelle asti. Luin jotain kirjaa matkan varrella ja yritin saada unta. Ei ottanu tuulta alleen. Kiitti vitusti Terska. Junassa tuli most random encounter: Keskitollon Mikko naisineen. Terkut kaikille Mikolta.

Junaan kerkesi myös Rakkula, juosten tietysti. Nyt sekin on todistettu.

Helsingissä meitä ootti partio Hanhela runsaine naisineen. Marky ensin pakotti mut maistamaan lonkkua. Sitten ne pakotti meitin baariin. Tilasivat mun rahoilla mulle salaa juomaa. Juottivat siat ne mulle. Nakittivat mut soittamaan pahaa odottamattomalle Juhalle. Varoittelin ja pahoittelin tilannetta ja eipä aikaakaan, kun seurue oli jo Espoossa kissojen syöttinä. Laulettiin. Esitin balladin LIIMAA LIIMAA ja illan kohokohta saavutettiin. Juha soitti tyttöjen kanssa suomipoppia, mä esitin parhaani mukaan ramoa ja pakoilin humppaa. Juha oli hakenu pilsneriä, jota muut pakotti mun juovan. täysin viaton mies on taas pilattu. Kuningas Kalja vei erävoiton ylivoimalla neljä yhtä vastaan. Paskaa.
