Voisiko joku selventää hieman tota Plague Bolieria? On vähän hankaluuksia ymmärtää milloin sen voi pistää rikki (kolmannen countterin tullessa) ilman, että se tuhoaa kaikkea. Ja auttaako neljännen countterin laitto.

Siis jos responssaa kolmanteen countteriin pistämällä sen rikki, se menee rikki.

Jos siihen (rikki pistämiseen) responssaa pistämällä uuden countterin, se tulee siihen, tuhoeffect triggeröityy, boiler uhrataan, ja se efekti menee stäkkiin.

Mutta jos yllä oleva pitää paikkaansa, miksi siinä lukee "if you do". Vai onkos toi niin, että sacrifice on myös tossa triggerissä mukana, eikä siis osa "maksua", jolloin sen voi pistää myös triggerin jälkeen rikki, jolloin se ei siis tuhoa mitään (koska ei ole enää pelissä, kun toi resolvais eikä sitä siis voi uhrata). Ja jos näin on, voiko triggerin jälkeen vielä pistää neljännen countterin, ja jos voi, niin triggeröityykö tuo ability uudestaan?

Ottamatta kantaa siihen, että tarvitaanko Jyväskylässä virallista tuomaria, tässä hieman valaistusta asiaan:

Kun Boileriin tulee kolmas countteri triggeröityy tuhoefekti. Jos Boileri poistetaan pelistä ennen tuhoefektin resolvaamista, niin et voi uhrata sitä abilitylle eikä abilityllä näin ollen ole vaikutusta.

Tuhoefekti EI triggeröidy uudestaan, jos rikki laittamiseen responssataan uudella countterilla seuraavan säännön takia:

410.11. Some triggered abilities trigger on a game state, such as a player controlling no permanents of a particular type, rather than triggering when an event occurs. These abilities trigger as soon as the game state matches the condition. They’ll go onto the stack at the next available opportunity. These are called state triggers. (Note that state triggers aren’t the same as state-based effects.) A state-triggered ability doesn’t trigger again until the ability has resolved, has been countered, or has otherwise left the stack. Then, if the object with the ability is still in the same zone and the game state still matches its trigger condition, the ability will trigger again.

Official Rulings:
Oct 1, 2005 - If the third ability triggers, removing a counter in response won't stop the effect. However, somehow removing Plague Boiler from play in response would stop the effect because then you wouldn't be able to sacrifice Plague Boiler.
Oct 1, 2005 - The sacrifice is done on resolution of the triggered ability.
