Oletko nähnyt lekaelfejä turnauksessa laisinkaan?

Channelfireballin materiaaliin kannattaa tutustua, koska sieltä löytyy materiaalia lisää. Olen pelannut siis Concordant Crosroads korttia legacyssä, mutta siihen tiukkaan listaan http://mtgpulse.com/event/24575#331042 on sen jälkeen tullut mm. Deathrite Shaman ja Craterhoof Behemoth. Onko Crosroads ollut se combosta cutattava turjake vai onko tuohonkaan listaan luottamista.

Crossroadsin ilmeinen ongelma on se, että se antaa hasten myös vastustajan miehille. Se ei myöskään ole creature eli sillä ei vaan ole "riittävän hyviä synergioita" muun dekin kanssa. Yksinään se ainoastaan hyödyttää vastustajaa (eli ei oo ees blankko). Keskimäärin olet varmasti paremmilla jos sulla on kädessä pari lanttua, pari landia ja natural order kuin crossroads natural orderin sijasta. Eli ei, comboelffit ei mielestäni pelaa crossroadsia (itselläni on ollut lekaelffit kasassa jo useamman vuoden). Ja tosiaan elffit ei edes tarvitse crossroadsia voittaakseen samalla vuorolla.

Deathrite shamaania lekaelffit on mielestäni pelanneet iät ja ajat koska se kortti on vaan liian hyvä ja elffi kaupanpäällisiksi. Modernista se bannattiin koska kaikki pelas sitä. Ts. sen opportunity cost (hinta jonka maksat sen käytöstä verraten hyötyyn) oli utopistisen hyvä. Lisäksi se antoi lisää manafixausta mustalle.

Concordant Crossroads tuli tarpeettomaksi viimeistään Heritage Druidin printtaamisen jälkeen, joka käytännössä antaa kaikille hasten pyörimisvuoron aikana.
